About Be Still & Chill
Our Story
Hi there! We’re a husband-and-wife team from Germantown, Ohio, raising three awesome kids (and wrangling two giant, lovable Goldendoodles). What started as a surprise opportunity to buy an old food trailer quickly became a family dream in the making.
Over the past year, we’ve poured our hearts into transforming that trailer, renovating it by hand, creating the perfect shaved ice recipe, and building a menu featuring delicious, dye-free syrups. More than just a business, Be Still & Chill is our part-time family adventure. It’s a way for us to work together and make memories as a family. And of course, we hope to share a little joy (and a lot of shaved ice) with the amazing folks of the Miami Valley.

Our Philosophy
In a world that moves too fast and demands too much, we believe everyone needs a moment to pause. Be Still & Chill is more than just a name...it’s a reminder to slow down, breathe deep, and enjoy something simple and sweet.
Our name is inspired by Psalm 46:10, where God says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” It’s an invitation to rest. And not just physically, but mentally. In the middle of life’s chaos, there is deep peace available to us when we stop stressing, and trust the One who holds it all together.
Our hope is that each time you visit, you experience a small taste of the peace He offers. Whether through a smile, a moment with family, or a refreshing treat on a hot day.
Our Process
We believe that the best treats are made with simple, honest ingredients; nothing strange, nothing artificial. That’s why every shaved ice we serve starts with quality and ends with clarity.
Our fruit syrups are made the old-fashioned way:
real fruit + pure cane sugar. That’s it! No dyes, no surprises, no mystery ingredients. Just vibrant, natural flavor, combined to perfection.
Every part of your treat is made with care. We want your experience to be as pure and refreshing as the ingredients themselves.
Our Menu
We like to keep things simple, just like our ingredients. That’s why our menu is easy to understand and straightforward.
At each event, you’ll find 5–7 flavors to choose from. While we keep it simple, we also like to mix things up with seasonal specials and limited-time flavors throughout the year. There’s always something new to chill with!
